In the name of God Amen, I James Savage of the district of Union
and State of South Carolina being very weak and low in body, but in
perfect mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament.
Following to wit my just debts being paid, I give and devise unto my
son James Savage and his heirs forever my track of land where on I
now live. Containing two Hundred and Twenty fore and half acres and
all the plantation tools, my wagon and gears also two fetherbeds and
furniture.
I give and devise unto my son Benjamin Savage my Gray Mair. I
give and devise unto my young Hannah Savage my young Bay Mair. I
give and devise unto my daughter Alse Savage my Sorrel Horse. I give
and devise unto my daughter Catrine Savage my Bay Colt and my Gray
Colt, Reserving the use of all my horses for Plantation Business
while living together. I give and devise unto my son James Savage
and my daughters Hannah and Alse and Catrin Savage an equal divide of
my stock of cattle, reserving the use of them while living together
equal divide of Seventy Dollars for which is my part of a Negro boy
call Issack, and likewise free previledg and possession. Whil the
live single, and lastly I do constitute and appoint my son James
Savage whole Executor of this my last Will and Testament in witness
whereof I have thereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 22th
