Massey Family


Charles Massey has been researching the Massey family from the Lancaster County area of South Carolina, and has been kind enough to share some of his research. Evarard Massey -- married Mary Knox Harper, had one son.
  Benjamin Harper Massey b. 1819, the Waxhaws -- married Nancy Catherine Haile b. 1827, Camden SC.
    Nancy was the granddaughter of Benjamin Haile, who discovered the Haile gold mine in Lancaster.
    Benjamin and Nancy had 9 children.

	James Everard -- first wife Alice Massey (daughter of Buckner and Mary Massey), had 4 children
