MEMORIES FOREVER - MR. TOMMY WHEELER - Mr. William Thomas “Tommy” Wheeler, age 82, of Wiseman Street, Henrietta, died Sunday, October 10, 1993, at Rutherford Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Wheeler was a native of Yancey County, a son of the late William Thomas and Lovina Phillips Wheeler. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Henrietta where he served as former deacon, and was a retired textile employee. Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Dorsie Kennedy Wheeler; two sons, Clark Wheeler of Henrietta and Tommy Wheeler, Jr. of Forest City; two daughters, Mrs. Ramona Jones and Mrs. Judy Clark, both of Forest City; one sister, Mrs. Launer Nodine of Henrietta; eight grandchildren, Sharon Hardin, David Clark, Debbie Higginbotham, Steve Wheeler, Johnny Jones, Cynthia Clark, Lance Wheeler and Blake Wheeler; and three great-granchildren, Sydney Penson, Landon Clark and Wesley Jones. Funeral services will be held a the First Baptist Church in Henrietta at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 13, 1993, with the Reverend Bob Philbeck and the Reverend Pete Bridges officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the High Schoal Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be ffrom 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Harrelson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be David Clark, Steve Wheeler, Johnny Jones, Lance Wheeler, Ricky Hardin, and Jeff Higginbotham. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, P.O.
