    Take Highway 79 towards Gibson, NC turn right onto S35-17, go 2.9 miles and turn right onto dirt road; go one mile and turn left on dirt road about 100 yards on the right hand side in field.

    Father and Son both lived blameless honest lives yet they were slain on the 18th of July 1864 by black hearted murderers for their devotion to their country. Sleep in Peace. The above three inscriptions on one marker.
