ZADOCK ELVINGTON CEMETERY
Kemper Community, Dillon County, SC
Located on Rabbit Island Road (SR 74) between Hwy 41 and the Old Mullins Hwy.
It is on the west side of the road, in what was a field, but is now a pine
forest - known locally as the "Zadick Place." It is on lands granted to or
purchased by John Elvington, later owned by his son Zadock. It lies between
the Meares Cemetery (which was an early Elvington Cemetery) and the Levi
Elvington Sr. lands. Copied 1984 by Jo Church Dickerson.
