Mount Holly Cemetery was surveyed by Sandra Brumbles and Penny Jackson, October 1999.
Please note that the survey below does not include previous contributions submitted by David Jackson and Letha Snipes Holmes. Scroll to the bottom to see JACKSON and BIGGS tombstone data.
Many thanks to all for preserving our history and so generously sharing their labors.

DIRECTIONS: on Old Latta Highway, approx. 2 - 3 miles south of Dillon

Note from Victoria: Mount Holly is a fair-sized cemetery. It has a wrought-iron arch over the entrance
to the cemetery and there are railroad tracks nearby.

[Note from Sandra:]
I have listed the names, dates and inscriptions on the headstones.
There were several headstones turned over that were too heavy to
pick up. There were also a lot of places that looked as if there
were graves there but no headstone, footstones, or funeral Home markers.

I have the dearest picture, not in a golden frame
it's the dearest little picture of any by that name.
It's in a little frame that won't ever come apart.
It's a picture of my mother and it's framed within my heart.
She went straight to God in Heaven when her work on earth
