~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~End of 1999 survey~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Notes and additions by Victoria Proctor, 25 Aug 2001:
The McEachern Cemetery was included in the Bicentennial Project Dillon County
Cemetery book and was compiled by Mrs. James R.C. Calhoun and Family.  The date
of this earlier survey was not provided but one may presume it was conducted
prior to 1976.
There is, as one would expect, a slight difference between the transcriptions
(conditions change, tombstones weather or disappear, there are generally
not obvious rows, etc.).  You will note that some tombstones may have been
replaced since the 1970s and some have sadly disappeared.
At the time of the earlier transcription, some nine graves were identified as
being enclosed by a wrought iron fence:
  of strength and sterling worth, a consistant Christian
  and faithful Church official."
  for the earlier survey:
  "Daniel McKinlay, Native of Kintyre Scotland,
