There are 14 graves marked but not identified. Mr. James L. Campbell
attended Michael Carmichael's burial in this cemetery and believes that his
brother, James Thornwell was buried there so Mr. Campbell listed their names
with dates obtained from General Carmichael's "The Scottish Highlander
Carmichaels of the Carolinas".

I would like to note: The cemetery is overgrown and a residential mobile home park surrounds the cemetery. The Dillon or Marion County Historical Society needs to help protect & preserve this historical cemetery.
Mr. Lloyd Meekins obtained the land and sold lots for mobile homes. --Ron Rowell
