I enlisted in Company E Regiment of 3rd Battallion of S.C.R Captain John Hardin on_____ day of August 1864 and served in that command until the ___ of April 1865 I was discharged from the service at Bennettsville, N.C. on __________day of April 1865 and was at that time a member of Company E Regiment 3 Battalion of S.C.R. My income and my wife's from all sources is ______in excess of $500.00 - is ________in excess of $1000.00. The valuation of all my and my wife's property does____________exceed$500.00 - does ____exceed $1000.00. I was born on the 20 of Feburary 1848 I reside at Cornwells in Chester County. I did not desert the service of this State nor of the Confederate States. While in such service I received bodily injury. (State nature of wounds and other disabilities, giving condition of present health) Fairly good for age I have not been on the pension roll of South Carolina, nor any other State, nor of the United States. In the name of God amen
I John Beam Senr., of Chester District in the State aforesaid, being weak of body tho of sound mind and memory, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following; that is to say-------
First it is my will that all my just debts be paid by my Executors--------
Secondly----- It is my will and desire that the whole of my estate, both real and personal of whatever kind the same may be. After my decease, and the payment of all my just debts be divided into seven equal parts, or shears, that is one part or shear to each of my children, that is John Beam Junr, Ezekiel Beam, Jyse Beam, & Turner Beam, my sons. Sarah Die, Ann Widener , and Marget Widener and that if either of the afore said children should die before they come of age, then sheare of said Estate be equally divided amongst the Suvivors Disannulling all former wills by me heretofore made Dulaceing this to be my last in Testimony where of I have set my hand and seal in presense of us---------------------- John Beam Senr.

Heirs of Albert Beam to Robert Fitz Coleman - (1817) Ferdinan Beam, Edith Beam, David Coleman and his wife Nancy, late Nancy Beam sell to Robert Fitz Coleman for $250 all our rights to the estate of our grandfather Albert Beam, deceased. Said Albert Beam died intestate leaving sons John Beam, Jesse Beam, Albert Beam and William Beam as well as daughters Edith Coleman, Mary Coleman, Sarah Coleman and Dorcas Beam, and grandchildren Ferdinan Beam, Edith Beam and Nancy Beam now Coleman, all children of Elijah Beam son of Albert Beam who died before his father-----

South Carolina - Fairfield District Sarah Beam administratrix of Albert Beam, 1803 ?

Personally appeared Sarah Beam (?) before the subscribing justice and duly made oath that as administratrix of Albert Beam deceased she has to the best of her will and ability administered to the goods and chattel rights and credits of the said deceased, that she had made an equal distribution amongst the Heirs of said deceased, except John and Albert Beam who she (three unreadable words), and except Dorcas Beam who is under age, whose part according to her request has been by me placed in the hands of Mr.John Foot.
Upon oath further sayeth that she the deponent is in so low a state of health at this time as to prevent her attendance on the Court of Ordinary on the 20th next pursuant to the summons of said Court, that (?) this deponent has been for a long time so infirm as not to be able to get to Winnsborough to make a return of the above concern agreeable to Law. Sworn and subscribed the 19th of June ___03 (can't read date, probably 1803) before D. Coleman J. P.
